Dr. David Luckow, MDCM, CFPC, DABAM, CMRO

Dr. Luckow is the head physician at the Centre de réadaptation en dépendance de Montréal, and has worked in addictions since 2003. He is a clinical lecturer at McGill University, where he serves as the course director for the second-year family medicine course, "Comprehensive and Consultative Health." Dr. Luckow is a member of both the medical school admissions committee and the family medicine undergraduate committee. He is the Quebec representative at the CFPC
for the addiction medicine committee and a former member of the board of the Canadian Society of Addiction Medicine. Dr. Luckow is a certified Medical Review Officer, a diplomat of the American Board of Addiction Medicine, and a fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine.

This presentation will be a review of three articles published in the past three years that are directly related to addiction medicine and have practical implications in the practice of family medicine.
